Vince received his Doctorate at the University of Maryland University College in Management and is extremely technical, which is a rare combination for his field. In his role, Nicotra will lead the definition and execution of PowerTCO’s sales and marketing strategy for the company's services. Services include; Program/project management, server/datacenter consolidation and AIX/Linux infrastructure architectural planning and design - all around IBM’s Power systems.

Unix-Linux Solutions Changes Name to PowerTCO New name more accurately reflects company’s IBM Power Systems expertise and benefit to clients
PRLog (Press Release)–Jun 14, 2009– New York, New York - Unix-Linux Solutions today announced its new company name, PowerTCO. The company, which specializes in solving clients’ server consolidation and infrastructure planning needs with IBM Power System servers, changed its name to better reflect its technology focus as well as its overarching goal of reducing total cost of ownership (TCO) for clients.
“The PowerTCO name embodies both our technical expertise and commitment to helping New York metropolitan-area clients reduce costs through server/data center consolidation, program/project management and system integration services,” said Ken Milberg, founder and president of PowerTCO. “Unlike many resellers who attempt to be ‘all things to all companies,’ we maintain a strategic and exclusive technology focus around IBM Power Systems that allows us to build on our core competencies and provide maximum value to clients. Our new name more accurately reflects this intent.”
Under the new banner of “PowerTCO,”the company remains essentially unchanged, with the same ownership and management. Milberg has long been a recognized leader in the industry as founder and leader of the NY Metro Power-AIX/Linux Users Group and Board member for COMMON, the world's largest community of IBM midrange users.
In conjunction with the name change, PowerTCO is excited to announce that Milberg will release his new book, “Driving the Power of AIX Performance,”this fall. MC Press, the publisher of the book, will sponsor a book fair August 6 at the IBM Building in New York City, where Milberg will speak and distribute free pre-published copies of his book.
